Savannah River Select will be operating in its 7th full season in 2023-24.  Leslie Stringfield, previously the director of Magnum in Aiken (2014-2017) is the current club director. Savannah River Select is a member of the Palmetto Region – affiliated with USA Volleyball. 

Mission: 

The mission of Savannah River Select volleyball club is to provide a highly competitive, quality-coached, community based volleyball program where players are challenged and encouraged to reach their full potential on the volleyball court with lessons that transfer to all aspects of their lives.

In 2019 we were honored to have Coach Alyssa achieve the 2019 Palmetto Region 12u Coach of Year! 

What makes Savannah River Select unique?

• We are committed to these players in our community and to helping each of them reach their highest potential in this sport.  You are not just a position, size, vertical, or number to us.  We want to help you succeed and take your game to the highest level you are able.

• We have very little turnover in our coaching staff from season to season, with most of our staff having been with us for multiple years.  

• Position and skills training each week for power level teams in addition to regular team practices.

• A competitive tournament schedule featuring play in both the PVA and SAVL leagues.

• Our complete coaching staff—we are committed to providing consistent quality coaching with experienced staff beginning in U12s all the way through U18s.  Our coaches train within the same fundamental framework building on development of skills from beginners to elite level players.
