What to Bring to Tryouts

• $50 Cash or Check ONLY (made payable to Savannah River Select) NO Credit Cards, CashApp, ApplePay, or Venmo accepted.
• A completed SRS Tryout Information Form.
  
• A filled out SRS Waiver and Liability Release Form. Please note that a parent MUST sign the waiver.
  
• In addition, you MUST show proof of a current USAV tryout membership ($20) to be able to tryout with ANY club this season.  *Remember this is through SportsEngine.  Read and follow these instructions carefully for getting your new USAV TRYOUT membership Here.
• Athletic attire, knee pads, water & any other items your player may need for "sports" play.

USAV Registration

VERY IMPORTANT: Prior to tryouts, you must register for the $20.00 tryout membership. This will be your SportsEngine account and should be created in parents name as the account owner, BUT the actual tryout membership should be purchased for the player and in their name NOT the parents name.

10U-18U Tryout Membership Click Here. Make sure you purchase for player (not parent). This membership is for any player trying out for any club travel program in the Palmetto Region.

If you intend to try out for more than one club, you MUST fill out a Palmetto Region Multi-Club Tryout Disclosure Form and bring it with you to each tryout. ALL players trying out for a travel/club team will need to initially purchase a $20 TRYOUT membership for the 2024-2025 season. Even if you know the club/team you are joining, you will still need to purchase the tryout membership first and later upgrade. Once you accept a club assignment, you will UPGRADE your membership from Tryout membership to a Full Membership. Upgrade cost is $40 (full junior membership is $60 total).

Structure of Tryouts

Our tryout system is time tested and we feel it gives us a good "grade" for each of the players trying out. Do your best to come to the initial tryout for your age group and each player MUST attend the tryout for their specific age group . This gives us a chance to determine whether a player should play in their age group or if they may need to play up in a higher age. It is also good for players to see the other players in their age group so they can see how they compare.
